Product Liability

Forklift Trucks are subject to Product Liability. The liability covers products sold after the 1st of August 1988.

Under the Product Liability the following persons are responsible:

• • manufacturer of the end product
• • manufacturer of sub component
• • the importer
• • the local distributor
• • possible sub-dealer

Also liable are such businesses which sell the equipment under their own brand name and thereby hiding the name of the actual manufacturer.
